Our favorite celebs prove they can dress themselves this season. Shop effortless ensembles for hot summer days inspired by these stars’ personal style.
Beyonce
When she’s not busting moves on stage or shooting videos for her latest album, 4, that dropped this summer, Bey’s cruising around town in style. Her on-stage persona is daring and sexy, but on her days off, the “Queen B” opts for feminine dresses (like this one by Preen) in fresh patterns. Though, we would never expect her to give up her platform Christian Louboutins on an average day!

Press Release for Immediate release
Empower the youths, and you have empowered a nation! The strength of a Nation lies in the youths as they are the future leaders of the country, hence a youthful generation without a focus spells a nation headed for doom. This is what The Nehemiah project with the participation from Kinabuti set out to address with its project tagged “ Rebuilding Lives” …this I my story, this is my life”. The Nehemiah Project” is a group of well meaning individuals committed to rebuilding the society by empowering and inspiring youths as the future leaders of our country to discover, explore and realize their full potentials. In the same light, Kinabuti, a fashion label spear headed by the Italian born Nigerian based fashion designer Caterina Bortolussi, through it’s non-profit social enterprise arm, Kinabuti Lab, is committed to charity and development using fashion as a visible medium for creating awareness and alleviating the plight of Nigerian youths in deprived communities through creativity, educational trainings and new job opportunities.
“Rebuilding lives”, the event which was held at the Ekpo hall of The Eko Hotel 24:07:11 was an idea borne out of a need to encourage and promote the youths to develop and explore their God given talent by bringing them stories of celebrated Nigerians who have successfully pursued their dreams by utilizing their innate talents.
The celebrities such as, Basket Mouth, Banke Meshida Lawal, Pastor Ituah Igodalo and other individuals personally told their stories and gave motivational speech with the purpose of instigating change by encouraging them to redefine their aspirations and give shape to their own potential. facial wipes |
BY; Ayodele Davina
It’s the second half of 2011; how cool will it be to end the year with plump, flawless and glowing facial skin? These 5 great buys do just that and do not cost the world. What a bargain!
FACIAL WIPES: wipes are perfect for when you are too tired to have your nightly skin regimen. Keep them at your bedside and just wipe off all your make-up and slather on your favorite night cream and snooze!
AN EXFOLIATING SCRUB: Nothing beats the brightening effects of a nourishing scrub. Slough off dead skin and impurities and reveal beautiful new skin. Some scrubs are gentle enough to use weekly.
THE SATIN SLEEPING CAP:
This not only helps to keep your hairstyle in place, it keeps your hair off your face all night, preventing hair oils from getting on your skin and causing break-outs.

NIGHT CREAM:
The skin naturally repairs itself at night and a rejuvenating night cream helps this process along quite nicely. You’ll love the feel of your skin when you wake.

FRUITS, VEGGIES AND WATER:
I know we all do not like to hear this but alas! It’s true! Flawless skin is earned from inside out. Water cleanses toxins out of your system and fruits and vegetables, when eaten regularly, help your bowel move regularly and help your skin glow.
